A man who tried to rape a three-year-old child was arrested

Mandya: The police on Wednesday arrested a 55-year-old man on the charge of trying to rape a small child in the district.

It is said that the accused Shivanna had taken a three-year-old child from the neighboring house to his house.

After locking the door, he undressed the child. Hearing the cry of the child, the neighbors got suspicious and rushed to the house of the accused. Later they broke the door and rescued the child. However, the accused managed to escape through the back door.

In this regard, the child’s parents have lodged a complaint with the KRS police station.

Later, the police conducted an operation and succeeded in arresting the accused. Further investigation is going on in this regard.
