24 people are corona positive in the state today; The number of active cases rose to 105
Bengaluru: A case of covid subtype JN 1 has been detected in the country and the corona scare has started again. On Thursday, 24 people were confirmed corona positive in the state, taking the number of active cases to 105.
24 new Covid-19 positive cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of Covid cases to 40,89,174, the health department said.
A total of 2,263 people have been tested for Covid, including 1,791 by RT-PCR, of which 24 have come out positive. According to the health department, 23 cases have been reported in Bengaluru city district and there are 93 active cases in the city.
A case has been reported in Dakshina Kannada district bordering Kerala.
Today, 11 people have been discharged from the hospital and the total number of active corona cases in the state is 105, the health department has informed.
Of the 105 cases, 85 people have been quarantined at home and 20 have been hospitalized. Of the 20 people admitted to the hospital, nine are in the ICU.
