Lockdown Trap:Beware of shopping sites you may loss huge money

BENGALURU: 27-year-old young woman believed to have received an e-mail in the name of a prestigious e-commerce company on gift vouchers have lost the money.
Ganapathi K. Chandrasekharan received an e-mail ID from a young woman residing in Kamakshipaliya, Bengaluru. There was an unknown e-mail in the name of Ayyappa. E-mail clearly suggests that “You have been given 3 gifts by Amazon App, each gift is Rs. 15000 worth. And also, there was one more E-mail stating “If you buy few more items, you’ll be refunded the amount at the end of the day.”

There was no update on pre-paid orders. However, the young woman, who was suspicious of the e-mail for further purchases, called the professor and enquired about the gift. When they say, ‘I haven’t sent any e-mail, they know that the gift e-mails were fraudsters.
Online Scam:
Shopping site Customer Care staff say that when a young woman calls the customer care number after discretion, in the first payment will be made, and then no refund will be done.
The cybercrime station has lodged a complaint. An FIR has been filed in this connection.
