Beware of spreading FALSE News
Bengaluru: CCB police have arrested a man accused of leaking a fake video on social networking sites, claiming it was a Victoria Hospital hospital in the capital city, city police chief Bhaskar Rao said.
Bhaskar Rao tweeted that this is a fake video and the medical staff at Victoria Hospital are doing their best.
The detainee is identified as Samirullah of Tilak City. The
accused uploaded a video on his Facebook account claiming that a large number of patients in the outer patient’s room were in Victoria Hospital.
The CCB police, who have registered a case and investigated the matter, have been quick in their efforts
to capture the accused.
The accused wrote that the video in another state belonged to Victoria Hospital. People were standing in front of the doctor’s room. The crowd was high. This scene was in the video. Upon inspection, it was revealed that this was not a Victoria hospital, a senior CCB official said.
The video is from Patna’s AIMS, Director of the Medical Institute – Dr. C. R. Jayanti has evaporated.
