Millions of rupees in the name of Rice Pulling Six arrested for cheating

Bengaluru: CCB police have arrested a gang of cheaters who allegedly cheated millions of rupees in the name of Rice Pulling.

The arrested accused are Sheikh Noor Ahmed (61) of Andhra Pradesh, Zarina Ahmed and Raghavendra Prasad of Bangalore, Nayamulla, Mudasir Ahmed and Farida.

Sheikh’s wife, Zarina, has booked meetings for the past 2 months at a hotel in Vayalikaval police station, and has been promoting rice-pulling equipment and making millions of rupees if she sells them. Four Bengaluru accused were meeting with the public to persuade them that they too would be paid more.

Then Rice pulling tools, videos and pictures on social network illegally took millions from the public. CCB Joint Police Commissioner Sandeep Patil said the attackers were arrested after the complaint was lodged.
