Madiwala cops take 4 in custody for duping people on OLX

Bengaluru :-Madiwala Police has gained custody of four persons accused of cheating by getting a camera for rent on online selling platforms and Arrest of accused of stealing two-wheelers. Seized 7 cameras and 4 two-wheelers worth an estimated Rs 7,15,000\- The men ran their operations from Bengaluru. However, they were involved in another similar scam in other places also.


This operation was under direction by Mr.Srinath Mahadev Joshi, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bangalore South East Division . with guidance by Assistant Commissioner of Police in Madiwala Sub Division Mr. Kari Basavana Gowda and team led by the Madiwala Police Inspector Mr.Sunil Y .Nayak along with PSI Mr. Nagaraj S. and the staff Mr. Chandan Gowda, Mr. Suresh AP, Mr. Muniraj and Mr. Hemant. Mr .Praveen and Mrs. Premalatha were constituted by the investigative team. The accused have been remanded for the case registered in Madiwala Police station,Bharati Nagar Police Station and Various other police stations of Bengaluru city With regard to the betrayal and theft of two-wheelers ,7 stolen cameras from Nikon and Canon Models and 4 bikes from Bajaj Pulsar, Yamaha, Honda Companies have been recovered .The total estimated value of recovered vehicles and cameras is worth Rs.7,15,000 / -.
