250kg of marijuana seized – Bengaluru Commissioner Kamal Pant

Bengaluru: Around 250 kg of marijuana and other synthetic drugs have been seized in one of the biggest hauls in the city, Bengaluru police commissioner Kamal Pant said on Monday

Speaking at a news conference, he said the operation was under the direction of Additional Police Commissioner Murugan and 150 kg of marijuana was confiscated by Parappana Agrahara police.

Peddler, who owned a kebab shop, was also the son of a policeman. He said the staff had prevented a problem at the grassroots level.
