25 lakh rupees reward for killing Bollywood actor Salman Khan; Purchase of AK-47 from Pakistan

MUMBAI: To kill Bollywood superstar Salman Khan near his plantation in Panvel, Maharashtra, a man was paid Rs. 25 lakhs of supari was given, Navi Mumbai police said in the charge sheet submitted to the court.
A total of five people have been named in the charge sheet and the gangster Lawrence Bishnoi gang, who is currently in jail, gave this sufari. Also from Pakistan, A.K. 47, AK 92 and M16 guns as well as Zingana pistol from Turkey. Singer Sidhu Moosewala of Punjab was killed in this type of pistol.
The accused had armed boys below 18 years of age to kill Salman Khan. Police said that all of them are hiding in Pune, Raigad, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Gujarat.
Around 60 to 70 people were deployed by this team to monitor Salman Khan’s movements. A house in Bandra, a farm in Panvel and Film City in Goregaon were kept under surveillance by the team members. It is mentioned in the charge sheet that this group attempted to kill Salman in August 2023 and April 2024.
Information has come from Sukba, who was arrested near Panipat in Haryana, that shooter Ajay Kashyap and four others were involved in this plan. The police said that the team had planned to break into Salman’s high-security and bullet-proof car and kill him.
Sukkha contacted Dogar, an arms dealer based in Pakistan, through a video call. There was a deal that half of the money would be paid before the purchase of weapons and the remaining amount would be paid after the supply. The police have found out that they were waiting for the orders of Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of Canadian gangster Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi. The chargesheet states that the team’s plan was to kill the 58-year-old actor and join him in Kanyakumari, and then reach Sri Lanka by boat.
Meanwhile, security has been beefed up outside Salman Khan’s Bandra residence following the killing of former minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique. Former MLA and NCP faction leader Ajit Pawar was shot dead near Nirmal Nagar in Bandra.
