Heavy rain in Bengaluru; Traffic is chaotic on waterlogged roads and riders are confused

Bengaluru: The state capital Bengaluru has experienced heavy rains and traffic has been disrupted. Major roads are flooded and commuters are stuck facing traffic jams across the city.
Meanwhile, the Bangalore City Traffic Police is giving many suggestions to the public by posting messages on social media X.
Major areas including Dasarahalli, Mahadevapura, Marathahalli, Seshadripuram, Sanjay Nagar, Hunasemaranahalli, Hebbala flyover, Outer Ring Road (ORR) and Bannerghatta Road are inundated.
Besides, commuters going to offices, schools and colleges in places like Kengeri, Mysore Road, Sarakki, J.P. Nagar, Gorguntepalya, Hebbala were stuck in traffic jams.
Heavy traffic was also seen on the IT corridor including Whitefield, Bellandur, Silk Board and Outer Ring Road. Especially on JC Road, vehicles were found stuck in water.
KIA Road (Bellari Road), Sarjapur Road, Electronic City, Kasthuri Nagar, Ring Road, Mysore Road, HSR Layout, Madiwala, Hosur Road and Bommanahalli Junction. Vehicles were moving at a slow pace due to heavy waterlogging in Hunasamaranahalli. This caused heavy traffic. Later, the police requested the passengers through social media to change the routes.
In the wake of heavy rains, a holiday has already been declared for schools and colleges and it is known that IT professionals have decided to work from home.
JCB, protection of school children using tractors
Meanwhile, ten children in a private school bus stuck on the flooded Belgere main road were rescued using JCB and tractors.
While taking the children home from school, the driver drove the bus in the standing water of about two and a half feet. At this time the wheels were stuck in water and mud. As a result, the children were worried because the bus did not move forward. The bus remained stationary for about an hour. Locals rescued the children using JCB and tractors.
