Vayalikaval murder case: The killer must be a sadomasochist, experts say early arrest is essential

Bengaluru : The murder case of Mahalakshmi (29) at her house on Pipeline Road, Basappa Garden, 5th Cross, Vyalikaval has shocked the people of Bengaluru, experts have said that the murderer looks like a sadomasochist and needs to be arrested at the earliest.

The body of the murdered woman was cut into pieces and hidden in the fridge, and when checked on Saturday evening, it was estimated that there were 30 pieces. However, during the postmortem on Sunday, it was confirmed that 59 were cut into pieces. Also, the woman’s head was cut into three parts and the woman’s legs were cut off. Sources said that the intestines, head hair and other parts were stuffed in plastic.

The killer may have dismembered the body for two reasons. There is a possibility that the intention is to dispose of the dead body easily or there is pleasure in dismembering the body. Dissecting a body takes time and skill. This case shows the possibility that the killer has sadomasochistic tendencies.

After the murder, the killer is not worried. After cooking, he kept the carcass parts neatly in the fridge as if it were kept in the refrigerator. It may have taken 2-3 hours to dismember the body. He stuffed the woman’s internal organs in the upper shelf of the refrigerator and the rest of the body in the three shelves.

Like the Shraddha Walker case, this is also a premeditated act. The killer is likely to be a sadist and he needs to be arrested quickly to prevent other people from being killed, experts said.

The killer appears to be a calm person. Police need training to deal with such criminals. Because, these people don’t follow the same pattern as others to kill for revenge and lust. They do it in a quiet manner without anyone knowing. Such people challenge the legal system. Many missing persons, especially women, are seldom found. It has been said that there are possibilities of such people being similar victims.
