Our Congress government has not dropped the case against PFI: Ramalinga Reddy

Bengaluru:KPCC working president Ramalinga reddy said in Bengaluru that during the Congress party’s rule in the state, Has not withdrawn a single case on PFI in the past.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Minister, R Ashok ,BJP National General Secretary CT Ravi’ and many other ministers are making false allegation on the congress Party .

From 2013-14 to 2022, the government has responded under the Right to Information Act regarding the cases withdrawn by the government under various cases in the state in which a total of 367 cases have been withdrawn. Of these, not a single case is related to PFI. On the same occasion, he said that the state BJP leader’s statement that Siddaramaiah had helped the growth of PFI in the state during his tenure as Chief Minister was meaningless.

Ministers including the Chief Minister, MLAs and BJP leaders are working to mislead people by making meaningless allegations and challenged them to prove if the PFI case was withdrawn during the Congress government.

Out of total 367 cases withdrawn, 44 cases are related to Pro Oraganisation and eight cases are related to communal riots. BJP leaders have withdrawn cases in their favour. He said that the chief minister and the ministers should speak carefully while making accusations, otherwise it will backfire.

He retorted that BJP leaders should take care of themselves while accusing them of trying to act like a good samaritan.
