Covid hike : 968 people infected in Bengaluru and One is death
BENGALURU: The number of coronavirus cases in the state is on the rise, with 968 cases confirmed in the last 24 hours. With this the number of infected people has increased to 39,66,420.
The death toll has risen to 40073 with the death of one person in the state today.
In Bangalore, 887 cases have been confirmed. With this, the number of infected people in the city has increased to 18,01,302. The Department of Health and Family Welfare says no coronary deaths have been reported in the capital today.
In the state, 337 people were cured and discharged from hospital. With this, the number of people recovering from infections has risen to 39,21,387. There are 4918 active cases.
