Bengaluru:  An argument between a Chennai-based start-up owner and the bouncers turned tragic and the bouncers broke the man’s jaw at a posh pub in Koramangala 5th block. 

The 32-year-old victim Sriram Thirumalai, who lives in a house on Patel Rama Reddy Road in Domlur, and his 10 friends had come to the pub for birthday celebrations. At this time, Sriram Tirumalai received a call on his phone, but he could not receive the call due to the noise, so he came out of the pub and received the call. After finishing the call, he tried to get back into the pub but was stopped by the bouncers. An argument broke out between the two regarding this matter and the bouncers took him to the terrace and punched him in the face. His friends came and saved him when he had to be thrown out of the pub. 

Speaking to media about this, Sriram said that the incident took place when he came to the city for a start-up job. Sriram, who was assaulted, is now undergoing treatment.

Action has been taken against the suspects and CCTV footage has been scrutinized to find out why the bouncers refused permission. The victim left the pub without informing the security guards, according to the management, there is a rule that customers must inform the guards if they leave and come back.
