How did Puneet give vision to four people with two eyes? Ophthalmologist Dr Bhujanga Shetty explains

The family members of Puneet Raj Kumar, donated their his eyes to the Narayana Nethralaya .
Two eyes were donated to the Narayana Nethralaya in Bangalore on Saturday. Many people have questions about how to give two eyes to four and how did the surgery happen ?. Dr Bhujanga Shetty and his medical team explained this at a news conference
His eyes were donated at 2.30pm after Monet passed away on Friday. After collecting their eyes and bringing them to Narayana Nethralaya and checking them in good condition, we called in the next day to get the transplant surgery done.
Transplant surgery has been successfully performed by a team of five doctors led by Dr Sharan. Doctors of the Minto Government Hospital have cooperated with this. This surgery was different. Usually we give two eyes to two blind. Appu’s transplantation of four is a success. This is possible with sophisticated technology.
This time Puneet’s eyes were doubled using the most advanced technology. Because of this, we have transplanted the next part of the cornea to whoever has it. We have attached the former to those with coronary artery disease. Thus the four were able to give sight. “It is the first attempt in our state to make four people’s eyes at once,” he said.
Dr Bhujanga Shetty explained that donated eyes are healthy and can only be treated by people with problems in the front and back of the cornea.
Dr. Bhujanga Shetty then explained the procedure of the eye transplant surgery at a news conference.
