Protests by women rights fighters in Kabul turned to violence

Kabul: The protests by women rights fighters in Kabul have intensified and turned into violence.
Taliban militants have forcibly stopped them as they sought to enter the presidential palace, where women fighting for equal rights under the Taliban’s new government.
Taliban special militant groups have stormed the protest and prevented women from attempting to enter the palace. The Taliban has clarified that the crackdown has been put on hold as it is difficult to control the protest.
Rights activists have spoken of this as “the Taliban attacked us, paralyzed us and beat up women as we went to the President’s Palace to protest with a group of women to defend our rights.”
Media activist Abdullah Imad said, “Protesters were heading to the president’s palace, but there was no access.
Saturday’s protest was the second such demonstration in Kabul last week.
