Name of the overnight saver on the flyover: Veer Savarkar

The controversy over the naming of newly constructed flyover has been sparked after some people have mentioned the name of Veera Savarkar on the bridge.
The BBMP is planning to inaugurate the name of the freedom fighter Veera Senani Savarkar as chief minister B S Yeddyurappa inaugurated the construction. The government has postponed the launch of the flyover. Various associations, organizations and activists from BJP’s Yellanka constituency should appeal BBMP officials to name this freedom fighter. This is the opinion from local people also.

On 28th May, 2020 there was a tense atmosphere in the public. There was police protection on both sides of the road & under the fly over also. Once the lockdown is opened the date will be decided & inaugurated.
