PUBG ban: $ 14 billion loss to China’s Tencent Company

China Tencent’s stake dropped sharply after the Indian government banned popular gaming app Pubg. Chinese  Internet giant Tencent’s shares fell 2 percent. The impact has melted to $ 14 billion in market value.

India is the biggest market for the pubg game, which consumes 17.5 crore people. The Government of India on Wednesday banned 117 Chinese applications, including PUBG, in order to protect the country’s security and the privacy of its people.

Tenzi Holdings has bought the mobile version of the pubg game, which was developed by a South Korean company.
It has a huge impact on children’s brain. Parents demanded that the young people are been spoiled and thus banned. India has banned 59 applications, including Ticktock, after the Galvan clash. 47 applications have since been banned. India has tracked over 250 Chinese applications, threatening national security and abusing citizens’ privacy.
