Recruitment of 13,000 staff for other corporations including KSRTC, purchase of 4,000 buses: Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy

Bengaluru: Transport Minister Ramalinga reddy said that 13000 staff will be hired and 4000 buses will be purchased for KSRTC and other corporations.

Dr. KSRTC SC/ST Officers and Workers Welfare Association held on Saturday. He spoke at BR Ambedkar’s birth anniversary function. 

Currently, 11,000 staff have retired in all the corporations and there has been no recruitment of drivers, conductors and mechanics for the past seven years, Transport Minister Ramalinga  Reddy said.

“As new buses are not purchased, the number of bus routes has also decreased. We have started recruitment of staff and purchase of buses,’ he said.
