Puneet’s name: A special tribute to the missing actor

Karnataka : A baby elephant was named after Puneeth Rajkumar, who visited the camp just a month before his death.
Sakrebailu elephant Bidara, near Gazanur, Shimoga, gave birth to a male Mariane two years ago.
Puneet Rajkumar had a special interest in forests and wildlife. Puneet Rajkumar arrived in Sakrebaili to shoot a wildlife documentary. Just a few months ago, Sakrebailu visited the elephant cellar and lovingly found Marianne.
The process of separating Marianne from the elephant’s mother’s elephant is now called the veining process. If this is the case, Marianne has the ido tradition.
Against this backdrop, officials have asked the public to name the elephant. After a week of campaigning, everyone had suggested that Puneet Raj Kumar to be named.
Because Puneet had come to the Cap last month. About 10-15 thousand people came to see them. Now they are not with us. So, in memory of him, Puneet Raj Kumar has named and shared the dessert.
It is customary for a baby elephant in our camp to be separated from its mother after two years. However, this time the process was delayed for three months as the rainy season extended till October. Elephants are difficult to domesticate if they are not quickly separated from the mother. According to DCF Nagaraj, the baby elephant is separated from its mother after two years.
It is customary to name the elephant after the elephant is buried in the camp. Puneet had visited the camp before he died. The elephant is named Appu to pay tribute to him. All forest department officials, including the Maoists, Kawadis and local villagers, have named the elephant as ‘appu’.
