Lockdown in Bengaluru ends on 22nd July 5am

Bengaluru: Officials have clarified that lock-down will not continue in Bangalore after July 21.
The 9-day lockdown will conclude on June 22 at 5 a.m. BBMP Commissioner Manjunath Prasad said the lockdown would not be continued.
Manjunath Prasad informed CM Yeddyurappa that “Lockdown is not a solution , so there is no continuation of lockdown for any reason after June 21st.”Continuing the lockdown will affect the daily life of the people.
However, ministers Sriramulu and K. Sudhakar have proposed to extend the lock-down for another week, with the health department also extending the lock-down. CM was told that the lockdown had to be implemented for 14 days to break the chain, giving ward committees time to do house-to-house surveys, with some saying that a weekly lockdown would not yield any results.
