Government orders to ban children’s birthday celebrations in schools in Karnataka!

Bengaluru: The state government has issued an order banning birthday celebrations in all schools in Karnataka. The circular has banned birthday celebrations of staff, officials, private individuals (celebrities, dignitaries etc.) and their children in government, government-aided and private childcare institutions.
The government has issued a circular banning birthday celebrations of staff, officials, private individuals, celebrities, dignitaries and their children in schools for any reason. Institutional staff, officials, private individuals in child care institutions. Political leaders, pontiffs etc. have been seen celebrating their or their children’s birthdays lavishly by cutting cakes and distributing sweets etc. to children.
Children enrolled in government, government-aided and private childcare institutions are children in conflict with the law, rescued from child labour, child marriage, rape. Children who are rejected by their parents, fatherless, rescued from begging etc. and in need of care and protection are enrolled in Child Welfare Institutions by order of Child Welfare Committees/Juvenile Justice Boards.
Since all these categories of children are deprived and offended by the society, it is necessary to arrange creative programs that will delight the minds of the children enrolled in child care institutions and encourage them to make their minds strong and pleasant.
But in government, government-aided and private child care institutions, the staff, officials, private individuals, etc. dignitaries of their and their children’s birthdays cut cakes and distribute sweets etc. to the children. There is a high probability that the children’s minds will be weakened due to trauma to the mind, which has a bad effect on the mind of these children. Such practices harm the self-esteem and self-respect of such children.
In order to maintain the feeling that children are no less than any other child growing up in the family, it is hereby prohibited to celebrate the birthday of any other person in child care institutions except for the birthday of these children and the birthday celebrations of persons designated by government order.
