Yellow alert for 3 days from today in Bengaluru: heavy rain in the southern hinterland for the next 5 days!

Bengaluru: Heavy rain is likely to occur in south interior Bangalore City, Bangalore Rural, Chikkamagaluru, Chikkaballapur, Chitradurga, Davangere, Hassan, Kolar, Shimoga, Ramanagara, Tumkur districts in the next 24 hours.

There will be a 5-day yellow alert for almost all the districts in the southern hinterland. And the Met Department said that a yellow alert has been announced for Bangalore for 3 days from today.

Next 24 Hours: Bangalore city will have generally cloudy skies with moderate rain/thundershowers at times. Maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 30 and 20 degrees Celsius respectively.

Sec. Coastal and mountainous areas are also likely to receive rain till 9. Coastal districts like Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada are likely to experience strong winds. Hence, fishermen have been warned not to venture into the sea.
