Shivraj Kumar appeals for Cinema theaters 100% occupancy

Karnataka:  Kannada Senior actor Shivraj Kumar has appealed to the state government to allow 100 per cent occupancy for movie theaters .Karnataka is seeing a reduction in the number of Covid-19 cases. As the cases are coming down, there is curiosity whether theatres across the state will be reopened. When the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic struck, theatres were the first ones to shut down.

We have to live with the Coronavirus. There is the inevitability of living with it. All fields are exempt from the 50:50 rule. However, it is not known why movie theaters are not offering that discount. I will appeal to the Chief Minister on this matter. The Chief Ministers have facilitated us plenty of times. “We still have hope to benefit,” he said.
