Government to give booster dose to health workers

Bengaluru : -It has been observed that there are less no of cases of death and infections after take covid 19 vaccine . The government has now been revealed that health workers is likely to give the booster dose.

Dr K Sudhakar said the government is considering giving a third dose vaccine to health workers. Discussions are being held with the ICMR and experts and the government will take a final decision after consultations.

A letter has already been written to the ICMR about the booster dose for health workers. Health workers who have completed the second dose vaccine 6-8 months ago are contemplating giving the booster dose vaccine.

Talking about the increase in immunity, the state has had a 0.03% positivity rate for the past 5 months. There are still some objections to the vaccine in the state. He also complained of effective vaccination.

“Covid is transmitted through virus mutations and we are trying to find out if new virus mutations are resistant to the vaccines available to us.” The government says it is trying to convince people to take two-dose vaccines as this is the only safe way to overcome Covid-19.
