Govt approves 100% attendance for movie theaters, cinemas

Karnataka: Movie Theater from October 1 and Schools from October 3, the state government has agreed to a 100% attendance at schools and colleges.

Only for the places with less than 1% Covid case were allowed to fill 100% of the cinema, 50% of cases where more than 1% were cavitated, and 2% covid cases, and movie viewers were required to obtain a covid first vaccine. .Govt had decided not to allow pregnant women and children in the theater.

A high-level panel of experts was convened in the city on the issue of Covid control in the state under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai.

The CM received information from concerned persons about the current average of 0.66 per cent of the Covid19 cases in the state.

At the meeting, the government was instructed to issue a separate program for Dasara Festival, to raise awareness about the vaccine among the people in the border areas, to monitor the vaccination campaign in Yadgir, Raichur, Kalaburagi and Mysore districts.

CM Basavaraja Bommai, speaking to reporters after the meeting, said that the decision to give permission to pubs and open 1-5 schools from October 3 will be decided.

The Minister of Health, Dr. K Sudhakaran, Revenue Minister R Asoka, Chief Secretary to the Government P Ravikumar and Covid Technical Advisory Committee Chairman Dr. Sudarshana and other senior officials were present.
