Ration card is mandatory to obtain birth & death certificate

Bengaluru: All state government corporations and autonomous bodies to register births and deaths in e-birth software are mandatory to obtain a family identification number (ration card) from resident citizens of the state applying for government service.

Birth and death events are registered and distributed across the country in e-birth software. The number of ration cards must be recorded in e-birth software.
