Negotiations with India are impossible until Jammu and Kashmir’s autonomous status is restored

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that talks with India cannot be done until Jammu and Kashmir’s autonomous status is restored.
Asked by reporters in Islamabad yesterday, Imran Khan said, “Is there any possibility of negotiating with India?”
“There is no negotiation until Jammu and Kashmir’s previous autonomous status is restored. We have no ties with any other country in the world except India, which is trying to destabilize Pakistan.”
Relations between India and Pakistan have worsened following the 2016 terror attack on the Pathankot air base in Pakistan. Earlier, Pakistan had attacked the Indian army camp at Uri.
