High Court notice to Govt regarding Reopening of schools

Bengaluru : The High Court today asked the state government to consider reopening schools in taluks where there are few cases of covid19.

Lawyer A.A. Judge BV Dasan, who was hearing the public interest petition filed by Sanjeev Naren and others. The divisional bench, headed by Nagarat, directed the government to clarify its stance on whether it is possible to reopen the school and reopen it step-by-step rather than adopting a statewide uniform policy.

At the hearing, state attorneys informed that all schools in the state are scheduled to resume with safety measures beginning January 1, 2021.
