Coronavirus cases hike in the state: 1,640 positives, 6 deaths in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: With 1,240 positive cases being reported in the state, the number of infected persons has increased to 9,04,665.

6 people have died of coronavirus in the state in the last 24 hours. Overall, 11,971 people were infected with the infection in the state, the Health and Family Welfare Department said.

In the state, 1,403 infected persons have recovered and are discharged from the hospital. With this, the number of people recovering from infections has risen to 8,77,199. There are 15,476 active cases of which 260 are receiving treatment at the ICU of Covid Hospital.

In Bengaluru, 676 people were infected today, with the number rising to 3,80,247. A total of 4,245 People were died due to Covid19 in the city, according to the Department of Health and Family Welfare.
