Decision on school reopening in five days: Suresh Kumar

Bengaluru : Primary and secondary education minister S. Suresh Kumar on Wednesday said a decision on the reopening of schools in the state will be taken within the next five days.

Speaking to officials after a meeting with education department officials, he said no decision has been taken on Tuesday’s school reopening.

Meeting with all senior officials and district officials of relevant departments and reviewing the situation. After receiving feedback from all sectors, the decision will be taken after discussing it with the chief ministers

The minister said that the experts have suggested that it is better to reopen the schools as a step forward.
