2,576 infections detected, 8,334 discharged in 2 months

Karnataka: The number of coronaviruses in the state has been decreasing as the day has passed, with 2,576 positives confirmed today. The number of infected people has risen to 8,29,640.

In the last 24 hours, 29 people have been infected with coronavirus in the state. The number of deaths due to infection has risen to 11,221, the Health and Family Welfare Department said.

Today, 8,334 people have been discharged from the hospital, while the number of those recovering has increased to 7,73,595. A total of 44,805 people are receiving treatment at scheduled Covid hospitals.

Today, 1,439 new cases have been reported in one city in Bangalore, with the number of infected people in Silicon City rising to 3,40,075. 14 people have died in the city today.
