Rahul Gandhi criticizes BJP’s free vaccine promise

NEW DELHI: The BJP on Thursday released its manifesto for the three-phase Bihar assembly elections, promising to vaccinate every person in the state for free. This promise of the BJP has been criticized by many leaders including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted, “Please refer to the statewide election schedule to know when you will get it with false promises.”

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who issued the BJP’s election manifesto to the Bihar assembly this morning, promised to give a free vaccine to everyone in Bihar as soon as the ICMR approves the Covid-19 vaccine.
