MP Tejasvi Surya has questioned the central government in Parliament over its ban on the SDPI and PFI organizations in connection with the Bangalore riots in August.

Parliament MP Tejasvi Surya has questioned the central government over its ban on the SDPI and PFI organizations in connection with the Bangalore riots last August.

The Turkish Youth Federation and the Student Islamic Organization, along with the Jamaat-e-Islami Student Organization, are said to have been involved and questioned what measures the central government has taken on these organizations.

The Home Ministry has responded to the query by saying that it will take action against law-abiding organizations, which compromise national security when the need arises.
