Heavy rain in the state for another week: Precautions from the Meteorological Department

Bengaluru : The monsoon is raging in the state and heavy rains are expected for another week confirms the Meteorological Department . Heavy rainfall is reported across the state including Siddapur 11 cm and Kundapur 10 cm. Most of the rainfall is expected until September 17 along the coast. Heavy rains have been reported in Uttar Kannada, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.

Red Alert announced on 14th to 17th September. The Yellow Alert has been announced in Bidar, Kalaburagi and Yadagiri districts. The Orange Alert has been announced in Shimoga, Hassan, Chikmagalur and Kodagu districts. Heavy rain is expected in Bengaluru in the coming days, the Meteorological Department Director CS Patil said.
