Australia to ban TikTok after India and US

Australia: Australia is also gearing up to ban Tik Tok in India and the US behind a churn that users may be using the China Tik Tok app to collect data. While Tik Tokhas denied any data theft, the move raised doubts that China could actually collect user data from Tik Tok.

Tik Tok owner Bytedance has responded to this and stored its data on US and Singapore servers. But collecting that data is not a difficult task for the Chinese government. The company’s statement in January: We do not guarantee that transmitting data through any data storage system or the Internet or any other public network is 100 percent secure.

Moreover, if Tik Tok users decide to delete their content from their device, or even the government of a particular country imposes a ban on the app, the data will not be deleted in the past. Because once the information is transferred it is impossible to withdraw without the help of the company.
