Rajya Sabha election: Tejaswini Anant Kumar’s name to the forefront

Bengaluru: Tejaswini Anant Kumar, wife of former Union minister Anant Kumar, has been named in the Rajya Sabha elections.
Tejaswini was a strong contender for the Lok Sabha elections last year, but Tejaswini was not given the ticket in the last minute.
Tejaswini was later appointed as the party’s state unit vice-president. She was also promised to send it to the Rajya Sabha when the opportunity arises.
And now it’s time. The BJP is likely to win two seats in the Rajya Sabha polls on March 20 and Tejaswini is being to contest.
Party activists demand that Tejaswini to be given a ticket without doing injustice as happened in the Lok Sabha elections. This time, four BJP aspirants are in the Rajya Sabha. Umesh Sword has batted very strongly on behalf of his brother Ramesh.
In the meantime, the BJP is also serious about inflaming Infosys’ Sudha Narayana Murthy, the Times newspaper reported. It remains to be seen whom the BJP will vote for in this situation. But sources say that it is certain that the party will face dissatisfaction from anyone else.
