Ratan Tata is India’s proud son: Israel PM Netanyahu condoles

New Delhi: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has condoled the death of senior Indian industrialist Ratan Tata. He has been called a champion of friendship between Israel and India.
Former Tata Group Chairman Ratan Tata passed away at the age of 86 at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday night.
Netanyahu posted a condolence post on the social networking site X and mentioned Ratan Tata’s contribution to the development of the relationship between the two countries.
My friend and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, I and the people of Israel mourn the death of Ratan Tata. He is the proud son of India. He said that he is a champion who has worked to improve the friendship between the two countries. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi has requested to convey his condolences to Tata’s family.
Last Thursday, Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong described Ratan Tata as a true friend of our country. Similarly, French President Emmanuel Macron condoled Ratan Tata’s contribution to innovation and industrialization and recalled his role in strengthening India-France ties.
