Yellow Alert Announces Three Days of Rainfall in 17 States
BENGALURU: The Indian Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rainfall for three days in some districts of the state.
The Yellow Alert has been announced in 17 districts as a result of the fall in weather conditions, the weather department report said.
Heavy rains are expected in Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Mandya, Mysore, Ramanagara, Bangalore, Shivamogga, Chamarajanagar, Kodagu, Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Bagalkot, Haveri, Koppal, Raichur and Yadagiri districts till November 16. .
Heavy rainfall in Chennai and surrounding areas of Tamil Nadu has now been weakened. However, some of the districts in the state are likely to be affected by the cyclone of Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal.
