Nalapad Haris received a Warm Welcome ,Who returned from Delhi

Bengaluru : The election for the presidentship of the Karnataka unit of the Indian Youth Congress sparked controversy after one of the candidates Mohammed Nalapad was disqualified despite winning the highest number of nearly 64000 votes.

Mohammed Nalapad received a warm welcome at Bengaluru International Airport from his supporters. He told the Congress party was like his mother. I am a loyalist of the Congress party. In the State Youth Congress election, people have given me the highest number of votes and showed their love. There are small problems in the system and was upset for the same. I have 100% confidence in the Congress party.

In the final results for Youth Congress President Election, Nalapad secured 64,203 votes as opposed to 57,271 votes polled by his nearest rival Raksha Ramaiah but in the end it was Ramaiah who was declared the winner and not Nalapad.

Ramaiah is the son of former Congress MLC MR Seetharam while Nalapad is the son of party leader and Shanthinagar MLA NA Haris.

Huge supporters landed at the airport and greeted Mohammed Nalapad Haris .

Nalapad is ready to be a congress worker till the end and left the final call to the Congress Party.

Mohammed Nalapad has not yet clarified his position as president.
