Learning Program on Television Channel DD1

Bengaluru: The Electronic-Class Learning program will be launched on a Television Channel to encourage children to continue learning in the mid of Covid Lockdown.

Bridge Course programs on Mathematics, Science and Social Sciences are being broadcast on Television Channel for 20 days from 8th to 10th standard for First Language Kannada, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, Second Language English, Third Language Hindi, Kannada Medium.
After 20 days of these classes, the 8th to 10th grades will continue to teach in Kannada medium.

Education Minister Suresh Kumar has appealed to all parents to encourage their children to take advantage of the learning.
All classes are available on the YouTube channel of the Department of Education and can be used by the students. One Mentor Teacher is being mapped for every 20 students to evaluate the learning of these classes and the Department of Education has implemented systematic guidelines for effective assessment of teachers’ learning, he said on Facebook.
