Vijay criticizes “corrupt family politics” and supports Periyar but not his “anti-God stance.”

Tamil Nadu :Without mentioning any party, Tamil actor-turned politician Vijay attacked the BJP government at the federal level and the DMK government in Tamil Nadu during  his party  Tamiliga Vettri Kazhagam forst ever speech. Without “the anti-God position,” he said, his party would adopt the beliefs of Tamil leaders like Periyar.

Over lakh people attended the renowned actor’s debut political rally in Vikravandi town, Villuppuram district. To thunderous acclaim, Vijay opened his address with metaphor, likening himself to child confronting snake. “I acknowledge that am political child. However, this youngster is prepared to hold the

“I acknowledge that I am a political child. However, Vijay stated, “This child is prepared to hold the snake (politics) in his hand.” Then, without further elaboration, he declared, “Our political plan is ‘pucca practical.'”

Vijay also aimed to keep the door open for possible allies by urging the public to support the TVK in the polls by giving it a majority. He declared, “Whoever joins us will have a share of power in our government.” The AIADMK, which now faces the possibility of further losing ground if TVK becomes the main, secular, anti-DMK group, has seen this as a strategic overture.

By portraying himself as a leader paving a new path for the state rather than merely a movie star,

“I have come abandoning the peak of my career, trusting you, the people,” the 50-year-old stated as he wrapped up his remarks.
