Milk price will be hiked soon – KMF

Karnataka :Fuel price hike, edible oil price hike is another shock for consumers, and Nandini milk is likely to rise soon.
Balachandra Jarkiholi, president of the Karnataka Milk Federation, has said that the milk federation in 14 districts has pressed for a hike in milk prices. The milk price hike should be given to farmers.
That is what we have appealed to Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai told to KMF President Balachandra Jarakihili that the decision should be taken after looking at the pros and cons.
Speaking to media outlets in the city today, he said, milk will come in short in summer. This will help the farmers at higher rates. In Belagavi, her milk was 23 rupees and we made 25 rupees. The buffalo milk was 36 rupees and we made 38 rupees.
We sell the cheapest milk in India. Elsewhere the rate of milk has increased. Farmers will benefit if milk prices are increased without the burden on consumers. “We are waiting for the decision from the Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai ,” he said.
