MLA Zameer Ahmed apologizes over Hijab’s Controversy

Karnataka : Zameer Ahmed Khan, a self-styled MLA, has apologized in a tweet, issuing a controversial statement that the girls would be raped if they did not wear the hijab.

MLA Zameer Ahmed Khan has apologized in a tweet after a controversial statement that girls would be raped if they did not wear the hijab.

I am not malicious enough to hurt or disrespect anyone’s mind. “My concern has been twisted by the concern for females,” he said .Zameer Ahmed Khan, who tweeted on the controversy , said, “My girl’s clothes are not the reason for the rape of girls.” Even if my clothes are clothed or not, rape will continue. This is due to the rapist mentality of some men. They say that if the rape of women is to be reduced then men must first change.

There is no other weapon more powerful than education. So please give a solution for hijab-burqa, I urge the government and the society not to deny education to Muslim girls.
