Covid-19: 27,553 new cases detected in India, 284 deaths

New Delhi : Over 27,553 new cases of Covid infection have been detected in the last 24 hours in India. According to the statistics released by the Ministry of Health on Sunday, 284 people have died from Covid.

The total number of Covid cases in the country increased to 3,48,89,132. The death toll from Covid has risen to 4,81,770, according to the Ministry of Health.

The number of active cases has reached 1,22,801 as the number of infected people in the country continues to decline.

In the last 24 hours, the total number of recoveries so far has reached 3,42,84,561.

A total of 1,45,44,13,005 people have been vaccinated since the start of the vaccine campaign, according to data released by the central government.
