MLA Ramalinga Reddy Protests against delay in construction of Ejipura-Kendriya Sadan elevated corridor

The Public of Koramangala along with Congress leaders protested for the unnecessary postponement in the development of the elevated corridor from Ejipura to Kendriya Sadan.
While Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya thrashed the civic organization Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) over the deferral in the development,The Ex -Home Minister and BTM Layout MLA Ramalinga Reddy requested designating a unique authority in control to screen the on going project.
In a letter to BBMP Commissioner chief Gaurav Gupta, the MLA mentioned him to notify him about the advancement about the task with normal updates.
“Development of elevated road project from Ejipura to Kendriya Sadan has imperative significance to the public of Koramangala, Ejipura and Sarjapur Road, yet it is likewise a fundamental passageway conveying IT Sector representatives to their work spots, in numerous ways it is a connection among South and East Bangalore. This project should be finished and opened to traffic by December 2019, however because of deferred progress the consummation date was delayed again to June 2020. Ramalinga Reddy also stated in his letter that the contractor (M/s Simplex) claimed to have the capacity to manufacture only 50 segments a month. “Even at this rate of production, even producing all the segments required will take another 14 months. The contractor’s production capacity has to be increased and monitored by BBMP. The contractor needs to be summoned to explain the reasons for the delays and give an action plan to speed up work. If the contractor is not capable of completing the project, it is suggested for a change of agency to carry out the balance work of the project immediately,”
