Vehicle Owners in Bengaluru to get SMS notification for petty criminal offenses

On Saturday, Joint Commissioner Police (Traffic) Ravinkanthe Gowda BR said that on a normal 20,000 notification are given day by day in the city. He added that prior petty criminal offense notice were sent through the postal division and each notice used to cost them Rs 4.50, including printing and postal charges.
A cop said that on the off chance that the vehicle owners didn’t get the notification, traffic cops would need to go out looking for the vehicle owners and serve him/her the notification. “As of now there is a lack of staff and this was additionally influencing traffic the board in the city,” he said.
