Police News led by National President A. Charles fed 1000 people in the pouring rain

Food is one of the basic human needs. But even on festive days like Deepavali, many families live in poverty without money to cook.

There can be no Mumbai Tamils who do not know about the Dharavi area of Mumbai. There is also a Dharavi in Chennai. Its name is Rajiv Gandhi Nagar in Perambalur area of Chennai. Tens of thousands of people here work daily wages and live in poverty. Mr. A. Charles, National President of the News Media Association of India, has been working directly for the last few years to uplift the livelihoods of the people of the area. Following this, Under the leadership o the national leader Mr.A. Charles, food was distributed to about a thousand people in the Rajiv Gandhi Nagar area.
During the Deepavali festival everyone enjoys delicious food including sweets at home and spends time with family. In the pouring rain yesterday, the Police News Plus and News Media Association of India held a noble function to provide food. The people of the area were eager to get the food.
