Change of name of Indira Canteen as ‘Annapoorneshwari Canteen’: CT Ravi demands CM

Bengaluru: The Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award has been renamed Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna. While BJP supporters celebrated the announcement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, Congress supporters called it a political move.

In the meantime, BJP leaders are demanding the rename of Indira Canteen in Karnataka under the last Siddaramaiah-led Congress government. BJP national general secretary CT Ravi has urged Chief Minister Bommai to change the name of Indira Canteen to Annapoorneshwari Canteen.
