Covid19 killed 123 in the state, 15,244 in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Covid19 death toll continues to rise in the state, with 123 people killed in a single day on Thursday. With this the death toll has risen to 13885.

In the last 24 hours, 25,795 positive cases were reported in the state. The number of infected persons has risen to 12,47,997, the Health and Family Welfare Department said in a statement.

In Bangalore, 15,244 people were infected today, with the number rising to 5,98,919. According to the Department of Health and Family Welfare, 68 people have died from the infection in the city.

There are 5624 infected patients discharged from the hospital today. With this, the number of people recovering from infections has risen to 10,37,857. There are 1,96,236 active cases, of which 243 are receiving treatment at the ICU of Covid Hospital.
