Rahul Gandhi visits Tamilnadu on Pongal

Madurai: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who visited Tamil Nadu on the auspicious day of the state, has protested against the central government and agricultural laws.

Rahul Gandhi alleges that the government has conspired with the new agricultural laws to destroy the farmers. He said his party would stand with the farmers.

Talking to journalists, Rahul Gandhi alleged that the central government was trying to benefit two or three of its friends through agricultural laws.

Responding to a question from a journalist, Rahul Gandhi said that the central government is not just ignoring the peasantry but also trying to destroy it.
